There are tons of awesome things to do in Seoul in March as the city starts to shake off its winter chill.
Let me share some of my favorite experiences and give you some tips.
Things to do in Seoul in March
Here are some suggestions for things to do:
Cherry Blossom Viewing
One of the absolute best things to do in Seoul in March is catching the cherry blossoms. They usually start blooming in late March, and it’s magical!

Yeouido Park is a top spot for this. I loved strolling under the pink canopy.
Visit Changdeokgung Palace
As the weather warms up, exploring palaces becomes one of the most enjoyable things to do in Seoul in March.

Changdeokgung is my favorite. The Secret Garden starts to come alive with early spring blooms. It’s less crowded than Gyeongbokgung too. Remember to book a tour for the Secret Garden in advance!
Hike Namsan Mountain
Hiking Namsan is one of the refreshing things to do in Seoul in March. The weather’s perfect – not too cold, not too hot.

The views from the top are amazing, especially as the city starts to green up. I always reward myself with a trip to N Seoul Tower after. Bring comfy shoes and water!
Enjoy Seoul Fashion Week
Fashion lovers, listen up! Seoul Fashion Week usually happens in March. It’s one of the trendiest things to do in Seoul in March.
Even if you can’t snag show tickets, the street style around Dongdaemun Design Plaza is a sight to behold. I got so many outfit ideas just people-watching!
Visit a Traditional Market
Exploring traditional markets is one of the most authentic things to do in Seoul in March.

Gwangjang Market is my go-to. As it gets warmer, the energy picks up. Try the bindaetteok (mung bean pancakes) – they’re to die for! Bring cash and don’t be afraid to haggle a bit.
Attend a Baseball Game
Baseball season starts in March, and catching a game is one of the fun things to do in Seoul in March. I watched the Doosan Bears at Jamsil Stadium. The atmosphere is electric!
Even if you’re not a big sports fan, the crowd energy is infectious. Grab some chimaek (chicken and beer) for the full experience.
Explore Bukchon Hanok Village
As the weather improves, wandering through Bukchon Hanok Village becomes one of the most picturesque things to do in Seoul in March.

The traditional houses against the backdrop of blooming trees is stunning. I spent hours here just taking photos. Go early to avoid crowds and get the best light.
Visit a Cat Cafe
For a cozy break, visiting a cat cafe is one of the cute things to do in Seoul in March. My favorite is Cat’s Attic in Myeongdong.

It’s perfect for those occasional chilly March days. The cats are adorable and the coffee’s good too. Remember to follow the cafe rules and be gentle with the kitties!

Try Indoor Rock Climbing
If the weather’s not cooperating, indoor rock climbing is one of the active things to do in Seoul in March. The Ja’s Climbing in Hongdae is great for beginners and experts alike.
I had a blast challenging myself on different routes. It’s a fun way to burn off all that Korean BBQ!
Enjoy a Traditional Tea Ceremony
As spring blooms, participating in a traditional tea ceremony becomes one of the serene things to do in Seoul in March. I loved the one at Insadong’s Dawon Tea House. It’s a peaceful escape from the busy city.
You’ll learn about different teas and the proper way to enjoy them. Perfect for a relaxing afternoon!
Visit Lotte World
For some indoor fun, Lotte World is one of the exciting things to do in Seoul in March. It’s partly indoors, so it’s great if the weather’s iffy.
