There are so many amazing things to do in Seoul in April.
The weather’s getting warmer, flowers are blooming, and the city’s buzzing with energy.
Let me share some of my favorite experiences and throw in some handy tips!
Cherry Blossom Festivals
Hands down, one of the best things to do in Seoul in April is checking out the cherry blossoms. They’re usually in full bloom early in the month.

Yeouido Spring Flower Festival is a must-visit. I spent hours walking under the pink canopy – it’s like being in a fairytale! Don’t forget your camera.
Tip: Go on a weekday if you can. It gets super crowded on weekends.
Picnic in Hangang Park
As the weather warms up, having a picnic in Hangang Park becomes one of the most enjoyable things to do in Seoul in April.
Grab some kimbap and drinks from a convenience store and join the locals. I love the vibe at Yeouido Hangang Park. You can rent bikes there too. Just remember to clean up after yourself!
Changgyeonggung Palace
Exploring palaces is always on the list of things to do in Seoul, but April makes it extra special. Changgyeonggung Palace is gorgeous this time of year.
The gardens are coming to life and it’s less crowded than some other palaces. I felt like I stepped back in time. Don’t miss the greenhouse – it’s beautiful!
Hike Bukhansan National Park
For nature lovers, hiking Bukhansan is one of the most refreshing things to do in Seoul in April.
The weather’s perfect for it. I did the Bukhansanseong Course and the views were incredible. You can see the whole city! Wear good shoes and bring plenty of water. Oh, and arrive early – it can get busy.
Attend a Baseball Game
Baseball season is in full swing in April, and catching a game is one of the fun things to do in Seoul in April. I watched the LG Twins at Jamsil Stadium.
The atmosphere is electric! Even if you’re not into sports, it’s worth going for the experience. Try some chimaek (chicken and beer) – it’s a Korean baseball tradition.
War Memorial of Korea
If you’re into history, visiting the War Memorial of Korea is one of the educational things to do in Seoul in April.
It’s mostly indoors, so it’s perfect if you hit a rainy day. The exhibits are really well done. I spent hours here and learned so much. It’s free too!
Explore Insadong
Wandering through Insadong is one of my favorite things to do in Seoul in April.
The traditional arts and crafts street is lively this time of year. I picked up some beautiful handmade souvenirs.
Don’t forget to try the street food – the hotteok (sweet pancakes) are amazing!
Visit a Cat Cafe
For a quirky experience, visiting a cat cafe is one of the cute things to do in Seoul in April. My favorite is Cat’s Attic in Myeongdong.
It’s perfect for a relaxing afternoon. The cats are adorable and the coffee’s good too. Just remember to follow the cafe rules and be gentle with the kitties!
