Hey there, K-pop lovers and fellow travelers! Today, I’m super excited to share my complete guide to Shinsegae Centum City in Busan, and trust me, this place is MASSIVE. 

Like, literally the largest department store in the world. Guinness World Records recognizes Shinsegae Centum City as the world’s largest department store, covering 293,905 square meters.

Why Every K-pop Fan Should Visit

You know that feeling when you watch your favorite K-drama and see those amazing shopping scenes? Well, Shinsegae Centum City is exactly that kind of place! 

Fun fact: several K-dramas have actually been filmed here, and you might spot your favorite idols shopping here during their Busan visits.

Getting to Shinsegae Centum City

• Take Line 2 to Centum City Station
• The station connects directly to the department store (no getting lost, I promise!)
• If you’re coming from Haeundae Beach, it’s just a 15-minute taxi ride

Which Floors Should You Visit?

If you only have a couple of hours, please don’t feel like you need to visit all 13 floors.

I’d choose based on what you’re actually interested in.

Want luxury shopping? Start on 1F and 2F. You’ll find major luxury brands and watches here.

Looking for Korean fashion? I’d spend more time around 3F–5F, depending on what you’re shopping for.

Into home decor and interiors? Don’t skip 8F. This is one of the floors I’d personally wander around even if I wasn’t planning to buy anything.

Hungry? Go down to B1 for the Food Market or head to 9F for restaurants.

Want something fun to do besides shopping? Check out Spa Land on 1F, the Ice Rink on 4F, or Zooraji on 9F.

And if you’re only here for photos and the experience, I’d probably prioritize B1, 1F, 4F, and 9F rather than trying to walk through every fashion floor.

Shinsegae Centum City Food Hall & Restaurants

OMG, let’s talk about the food.

One thing I like about huge Korean department stores is that you don’t have to leave the building every time you get hungry.

At Shinsegae Centum City, B1 is where you’ll find the Food Market, which is great if you want to browse Korean food, snacks, and other things to take home.

For a proper sit-down meal, I’d head to 9F, where the main restaurant area is located.

There’s also Trinity Restaurant on 10F if you’re looking for something a little more special.

Personally, if I’m already tired from shopping, I wouldn’t overthink it. I’d just head to the restaurant floor and see what looks good.

That’s one of the nice things about a place this big, you have plenty of options without needing to plan your entire meal in advance.

1. Spa Land: This is THE PLACE to experience a Korean spa. Open from 6 AM to midnight – perfect after a shopping spree!
2. Ice Rink: Channel your inner Yuna Kim! It’s especially magical during weekends.
3. CGV Cinema: Want to catch the latest K-movie? This premium theater is open until 2 AM!
4. Zooraji Theme Park: Such a fun spot for photos – those dinosaur statues are Instagram gold!
